Good morning, Skiers,

South Park and North Park will be the only areas groomed today. Spring conditions on trails throughout networks with bare spots and debris mixed in on trails in sections. Snow is extremely soft but trails are skiable making for a true adventure ski, bring your rock skis.

Unfortunately, the rain is melting away the snow and continues to create bare spots on the trails.  The North Campground Loops and areas above the campground and near the sled hill in the South still have some okay conditions despite spring time weather we are seeing. Have fun but please be safe out there.

Above freezing temperatures and rain are forecasted to continue into next week. With current and forecasted conditions, grooming is suspended on Kahler Glen, Nason Ridge and Chiwawa. The North and South Park will continue to be groomed as conditions allow.

Low-snow areas continue across the network, so keep an eye on Nordic Pulse for closures or hazards. Thin or exposed sections can be found along shorelines, under dense tree canopy, on the hill near Campsite 23 in South Park, on the Missed Connections trail, along the lakefront trails in North Park, and on both Lower and Upper Nason, where washouts and exposed spots are present. Please heed all caution signs and be mindful of runouts on descents.

We are continuing to improve our grooming reports by shifting more of our efforts toward Nordic Pulse. As part of this transition, we are moving away from distributing grooming updates by email in the future and instead rely on the features and reporting tools available through Nordic Pulse. The Lake Wenatchee Info site already includes a widget that pulls directly from Nordic Pulse, and our Sno-Park webpages also connect users to Nordic-Pulse.com for accurate, real-time grooming details that help everyone stay safe and informed.

For the most convenient way to stay updated, the Nordic Pulse app provides live grooming reports, condition updates, trail status, and GPS location on the map so you can navigate confidently and catch freshly groomed tracks as soon as they are available

During the Sno-Park season a Daily Sno-Park Pass ($25) or a Seasonal Sno-Park Pass with the Groomed Trails Sticker ($120) is required to park in all non-motorized Sno-Parks in the Lake Wenatchee Area.   This pass is for the vehicle – no other passes are required! Self-pay stations are available in the North and South State Park areas for day passes. A credit card machine is also located in the South Park, where you may purchase daily or seasonal passes. You may also purchase a permit through local vendors in the area to include: Midway Village, Lake Wenatchee Village, Plain Hardware, KMC Winter Pro-shop, and Der Sportsman. Permits are also available online: epermits.parks.wa.gov
