Thursday 5-Feb'26 9:00AM 3:00 PM UPDATE: Reports coming into the office is that the skiing from noon onwards today has been very good. At 2:30PM we sent out a "probe" from the office to ski part of the manmade Loop, out to the Gravel Pit & back, and here is their report: "Stadium Loop was what I would call icy, fast. Natural snowpack to gravel pit was awesome".

.

SHORT VERSION:  +1.7°C @ 9:00 AM.  No grooming today. The slightly hardened overnite surface should slowly soften for a decent surface by noon, and even better by 2:00 PM-ish.

.

LONG VERSION: Once again, the forecast rain mostly avoided Otway, detouring to the north. Today will be another warm one, with or without direct sunshine. Skate skiing should work. Classic skiing in what remains of the tracks  would be about a 1 out of 10 for quality. Parking lots still a bit slippery in spots. Beware of puddles & ponds.  We invite you to change into your skiboots in the  rental office.
