Feb 3rd - No new grooming with temperatures consistently above freezing and forecasted to be well into the double digits the next few days. After a great start in December, the Ribbon Creek area has only seen about 4 cm new snow since early January, with snow pack thinning and saturating, and lots of debris blown onto trails in warm, windy weather.

Low elevation / low snow areas are beginning to melt towards bare ground. Crews will evaluate snow conditions when temperatures return to seasonal, but more snow may be needed and would be very welcomed. Until then skiing conditions will be challenging, fluctuating between icy and soft and warm.
